The last week of September 2010, I visited the Canadian Rockies with my friends John and Terri Moyers. Most of our trip was at or near Lake O’Hara, which is part of the Yoho National Park. Each and every day we would load up our packs and hike the trails to remote parts of the Park. This series of paintings reflects several days work, from various locations. This spectacular mountain scenery was the reward for lugging my heavy backpack, filled with art supplies, up and down the trails.
This painting is available for sale at Trailside Galleries and will be available during The Storytellers show in November 2015.
