Curt Walters of Sedona, Arizona, is a fan favorite from coast to coast, winning the first Patrons’ Choice Award from the American Masters Fine Art Show & Sale held at the Salmagundi Club in New York City.
At the May 7th gala event, “Overture of Twilight” was distinguished with the award. The piece is a 28″ x 22″ interpretation of the Grand Canyon from Maricopa Point.

Master landscape artist Curt Walters of Sedona, Arizona, will be a part of the third annual American Masters Fine Art Show & Sale held at the exclusive Salmagundi Club in New York City May 5 – 16, 2010.
Walters will be in attendance, displaying two new pieces in the show, which benefits The Salmagundi Club.
Long regarded as the “Master of the Grand Canyon,” Walters’ first piece, “Overture to Twilight,” is a 28″ x 22″ view of the National Park from the trail to Maricopa Point, as a late light dapples the landscape through the clouds. The second is “Above Borum Lake” (10″ x 12″), painted on location in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming.
Celebrated landscape painter Curt Walters of Sedona, Arizona, will be one of 48 artists to participate in the first annual American Masters fine art show and sale held at The Salmagundi Club in New York City May 1 – 7, 2008.
Walters will display three pieces in the show, which benefits The Salmagundi Club. Known worldwide for his impeccable interpretation of the Grand Canyon, it comes as no surprise that Walters’ first entry is “Tower of Set,” one of the National Park’s many famous landmarks. The second is “Rocky Shore Sea of Cortez,” from one of his frequent trips to Mexico. The last piece features his home state, New Mexico, and is titled “Winter Sun at Taos Pueblo.”
