Road to Tohatchi
30" x 50"
Oil on Canvas
This painting features the Navajo Indian Reservation in August as the monsoon rolls over the desert. The small village of Tohatchi lies on the edge of the Reservation and was originally the meeting place of both the young and the old in the ancient culture.
This was one of three paintings Curt had in the 11th Annual Quest for the West Show and Sale presented by the Eiteljorg Museum in Indianapolis.
This painting can be seen at the Sedona Arts Center on January 5th, 2018, as a part of the First Friday Art Tour.
